Do you offer direct billing to insurance?Yes we do! With your permission we offer direct billing to select insurance providers through the Telus Health Portal. We also provide direct billing via Medavie Blue Cross. Do I need a doctor's referral to see you?No. Physiotherapists are primary health care providers and in most cases do not require a referral from a doctor. Some insurance providers require a doctor's referral before providing extended coverage so we ask that you check with your carrier directly.

What can I expect on my first visit?We will take a thorough history to get to know you and your specific health needs. This will inlcude a medical history and plenty of time to find out your specific goals. We'll perform a physical assessment and objective tests to figure out the root cause of your issue(s) and work collaboratively with you to come up with your individualized treatment plan. Please plan for 60 minutes on your initial appointment. Follow up treatments can vary between 30-60 minutes depending on your specific needs.

Do you communicate with my other healthcare providers?We believe collaborative care is an important part of getting better and want to ensure everyone on your healthcare team is working together for you. With your permission we will send assessment reports and progress notes to your primary care physician and any other healthcare providers you wish to include in the communication loop.

What should I wear to my appointment?We kindly ask that you come dressed in clothing that will allow us to assess and treat the areas in which you are coming in for. A t-shirt/tank top and shorts are appropriate.
